The Acudor FB-5060 is a non-insulated, fire-rated metal access door for walls. It is specifically designed to maintain continuity in a 2-hour fire-rated wall when temperature rise is not a factor. It has an interior opening latch, self-closing and self-locking. Meets UL – Label B, and ULC – Label B (optional) test standards. If you need this type of door for plasterboard walls, then you should consider the FB-5060-DW, which has a plasterboard taping cord flange, designed for easy installation.
For its part, the Acudor FW-5050 is a metal access door, insulated and with a fireproof classification for walls and ceilings. When temperature rise or heat transmission are important factors in your project, turn to our FW-5050. This door also features an interior opening latch. The 20-gauge door panel is filled with 2″ thick flame retardant insulation. We also offer the FW-5050-DW with a plasterboard flange for plasterboard walls and ceilings.
