Equipment Access Roof Hatches
In a recent job, Acudor was responsible for providing three oversized custom hatches. Each hatch required a free opening size of 96″ x 96″, approximating a total size of 117″ x 117″. These custom hatches were manufactured for the Opequon Water Supply Water Treatment Plant, located in Stephenson, VA. The treatment plant was designed to help supply clean water to Frederick County residents.
Designed by Acudor, this stainless steel hatch measuring 118″ wide x 126″ long was installed on the roof of a water treatment plant.
Acudor is an important product of all types of roof access products, from equipment access hatches, roof hatches for service ladders and boats, safety hatches and ladders to a variety of UL certified smoke vents that are used to remove smoke, heat and gases that can build up during a fire.
