Smoke Vent Single Leaf (AL)
Acudor smoke vents are designed to provide an economical solution for fire ventilation by removing smoke, heat, and fatal gases from a burning building. Single-leaf smoke vents are used for smaller areas that need ventilation, including elevator buckets and ladders. Single blade units are not listed by U.L.
- Cover:
Dual shell construction (“type inside box design”) with 1 “cellulose insulation and weather seal packaging/continuous EPDM foam reinforcement that bonds to the inside of the deck to provide a flush and tight fit. Designed to support a live load of 40lb/ft2; The cover is 1/8” thick aluminum with 20 gauge aluminum interior lining.
- Curb:
1/8 “aluminum with 1” thick fiber roof insulation on the outside of the curb. The curb is 12 “tall, with a 3.375” wide bottom flange and pre-drilled mounting holes.
- Hinge:
Aluminum Pivot Hinges with 3/8″ Pin
- Aperture:
Gas spring operators allow the cover to open and close with ease. Inner and outer release allows manual lid operation.
- Door Bolt:
Automatic closing Blow Latch. Supplied with standard 165° UL Listed Fuse Link McCabe resettable link available.
- Finishing:
Laminate Finish
