Smoke Vent Double Leaf (SS)
Dual leaf smoke vents are an economical solution for fire ventilation by removing smoke, heat and fatal gases in larger buildings such as manufacturing plants and warehouses by removing smoke, heat and fatal gases. The unit has been tested and certified to meet the requirements of UL 793.
- Cover:
Dual-shell construction (“boxed type design”) with 1″ cellulose insulation and continuous EPDM foam reinforcement/weather seal packaging that bonds to the inside of the cover to provide a flush, tight fit. Designed to support a live load of 40lb/ft2; The deck is 14-gauge galvanized steel with 22-gauge galvanized steel inside the interior lining.
- Curb:
14-gauge galvanized steel with 1″ thick fiber roof insulation on the outside of the curb. The curb is 12″ tall, with a 3.375″ wide bottom flange and pre-drilled mounting holes.
- Hinge:
Heavy-duty galvanized steel/aluminum pivot hinges with 3/8″ pin
- Aperture:
Gas spring operators allow the cover to open and close with ease. Inner and outer release allows manual lid operation.
- Door Bolt:
Automatic closing Blow Latch. Supplied with standard 165° UL Listed Fuse Link McCabe resettable link available.
- Finishing:
Galvanized steel: baked in polyester enamel paint
